A standard appointment is 15 minutes.
If you require an appointment to complete paperwork, a medical or some other complicated matter please inform our reception staff at the time of booking so adequate time can be allocated.
At times you may experience a waiting period due to Doctors tending to urgent or complex medical issues. We apologise for any inconvenience.
We are not a bulk-billing practice. Pension Card holders are Bulk Billed, Health Care Card Holders have a reduced rate. Services are required to be paid in full on the day of the consultation, and can be made by Cash, EFTPOS, Cheque or Credit Card. Gap payments can also be organised.
The practice has a policy to recall and follow up patients with significant test results.
However, patients are advised to follow up on all test results by phoning between 10am-5pm.
Electronic Communications: The surgery will not send you confidential electronic communication without your consent. We use an SMS reminder system to advise patients of their appointments. Some doctors will communicate some information to a patient regarding results or information. These communications are recorded in our practice software. We need to ensure that your mobile number is up to date at each visit to ensure that this information is sent to the correct number. Patients must be aware that if another person can access their mobile phone then the confidentiality of these communications cannot be protected by the surgery.
Email is not a secure form of communication and we do not use this to communicate personal information to patients. Patients must be aware that any communication they direct to the Surgery via email is also NOT secure,and confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
